For years I have been using DreamboxEdit 7.2.1.0 (64bit) to download my own channel list from box 1 and to upload it to box 2.

 

When attempting to download my channel ist I get the following error message:

 

There were errors retrieving the files from the Dreambox. Check the log for more information.

In the log I read: Check the dream path settings on the options panel to point to the correct Dreambox directories and try again.

 

Both boxes run OpenPLi 8.0-release.

 

How can I transfer again setting lists between the boxes?

What boxes do you use? You have to set the right files locations in dreamboxedit! You can look at it from your box and accordingly you can make changes to Dreamboxedit settings. I think that's enough!?

I have a VU+duo2 and a VU*+SoloSE. The only thing I have changed is that I have upgraded to OpenPLi 8.0.

 

I worked in the beginning of OpenPLi 8.0, but I check my channel settings only every second month or so.

Tools->Options

Check the File paths and if needed, change them. That's it.
