Hi,

I may be totally missing the correct search terms, but is there anything like inotifywait for OpenPLi?

I saw the thread on pyinotify, but since I just want to start a tiny script when a new file appears, that one is overly complex for my needs. If there is no other option, I'll dig into it, but I thought I would ask here first...

It's part of the inotify-tools package, but it is not being built at the moment.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

So I did a pyinotify script that worked, and planned to post it here, just as a reference in case someone else needed it...

And then this morning I made a stupid mistake... I typed tmux -S ./watcher instead of tmux -c ./watcher (yeah, I know! Distracted and all that stuff!)

If only I had posted the damn thing here as I planned, I'd still have it!
