As a relatively new member to this forum, I would have thought that a stable  release was just that Finished.

you MUST separate the old boxes from the new as the writer of the software has no idea.

The new VU boxes are more complicated and I understand this BUT, after 5 months my box is still limiting the amount of channels and has not, not allowed reception on one polarity.

This is extremely annoying for to spend a lot of money on the new refined unit only to find its not allow recording of more than one channel.

So as they stop messing around and sort the software.

 

There is a second question, when you sent updates to the world, Please make sure its actually WORKS

As I have no clue what you are on about, perhaps it is better to create a new topic and explain EXACTLY what your setup and your configuration is , and what your problems are?

 

The software is absolutely NOT blocking reception on a polarity, nor limiting the number of channels received at the same time.

 

I have a Duo 4K with 16 tuners connected to 4 sat positions, and regularly have more than 8 concurrent recordings active.

To be honest, the tone of your ‘request’ (I deliberately use ‘’) isn’t as we expect users post requests. This sounds like a demand.

Be glad that Wanwizard is willing to answer your demand as I certainly aren’t willing to reply on questions like this. Besides this, I perform 5-8 simultaneous recordings on a daily base and start whatching about half an hour lator. This are satellite + cable channels and hardly ever experience any issues.

Hi

I have been struggling with v8 or a few weeks, initially it was wonderful but slowly over time we have lost channels, from over 8 to 2 and sadly this the only one that seems to work.

So can you please, please, please  ask the programmer to look at the code and correct the problem.

This seems to be the only one to work up to this point

It might be good if you would give some examples so someone might be able to help.

We don't know which box you have, what is your setup. Which provider you are watching, do you use a smartcard which softcam or do you use a pcmcia module.
