Hi,

I need to understand, why this USB tuner does not show up in openpli 8.0 on my vu+ duo2. I guess that I need drivers for it, which are not available, or I cannot find them in the feed.

Does it work on that image? If so, what is the output of "lsmod"?

Ah,,,, It's a v2 tuner. Those drivers were only added by VU+ in February, and are  therefore not  in 8.0-release.

Wait for 8.1-release (due in a few days) or test with the nightly build.

Forget it! Apart from the correct driver, it also requires kernel 3.15 or higher. So on the VU+Duo2 it will never run...

Apart from this, the new V2 tuner has VendorID 0572:0320.. I own the very same tuner....

it runs also with kernel 3.13 on Vu+ Duo2,  when the driver is available.

That's because VU+ has done some backporting to accommodate old Mipsel box users...
