Deleting channels in the All list is useless there is background scanning that will retrieve them.
You need to create a favourite/userbouquet and place and order your channels in it.

Thanks, but is it not possible to turn the background scanning off? what is the point of the 'remove entry' option if it does not work?

cheers

What are you trying to do?

- Remove channels from the All channel list?

As already stated you should create your own favorite and add the channel you are watching to it, this is the proper way to use your STB.

- Remove menu entries?

This is something totally different, you can disable some entries in the menu.
