i faced some wired movements on the gui especially in list boxes when scrolling , i did some searching and i found a commit that fix this bug i tried it on a home build the gui is much better now no more glitchy movements.
i attached the patch for the fix

What exactly are the sympthoms? I've never seen anything out of the ordinary on my SF8008 or H9 ?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

have a look at those two vids , this enigma patch is applied on all other images that support hisi models except satdreamgr and openpli and both of them have the same problem

Never seen that.
I tried it on uclan4kpro and it seems, it removed flickering whole VK while moving cursor over letters in Virtual Keyboard.

The patch needs to be cleaned up a little before it can be applied (looks like a copy from another distro), also intrested in what exactly it does.

It does something with threading... lock/unlock... and actually as it is (only) needed for hisi boxes it looks more than a work-a-round to fix driver issues... (other boxes don't have that issue - maybe hisi experienced it because it is too fast 
)...
The patch as it is now is actually a kind of if box x then do y fix.... 
...
But still when it also might have improvements with other boxes maybe that lock/unlock stuff might also be an improvement for something other boxes might have also the issue, but it is never triggered....If so then we might also consider/test if the if hisi box test could be removed also... If we accept it...!

In the low level code we have more platform specific code. Can't test with it until I'm back home in a few weeks time.
