You can not install 8.0 anymore, now that 8.1 is released.

You get the error because you flashed 8.0, did NOT do an update to make sure you're fully up to date (you can't, it is blocked), and then install a plugin (which is the 8.1 version).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

You could also install 8.1-release, which is the supported version.

Excuse me for butting in here, I'm also on ver. 8 and have experienced the same problem. I have a couple of questions regarding this matter.

1) Can I upgrade from ver.8 to ver.8.1 and not lose my settings, network mounts and installed configured plugins?

2) Can I install older version of EPG import to solve this problem?

  1. If you flash 8.1 from the menu, you get the question if you want to backup your settings before. Use the autobackup menu to define where the backup is to be stored, or optionally select additional files to backup
  2. No
