Hi, I have a zgemma h5 with openpli and I wanted to ask in addition to file et /enigma2/settings in which other file or folder the parameters initially set are stored such as video language, tuner etc etc ...

All config is in /etc/enigma2/settings. There are no other files.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hello. I thought the same thing too but I did this test: I saved the entire folder /etc/enigma2 of the decoder already working and configured then I reloaded the image again, at the first restart it asks me for the parameters so I tried to copy the old folder /etc/enigma2 in the new image but on reboot it always asks me for the language ... video..etc etc ... what am I wrong?

When you flash an image, or reset an image to factory settings, it sets a "first run" flag, which causes the wizard to pop up. This flag isn't part of the settings.

So if I understand correctly, in addition to the entire folder, this flag goes?

You'll miss all sorts of stuff when you do this manually. Don't, use the autobackup option in the menu if you want to save and restore the config.

You must stop Enigma2 before editing the file called settings. Otherwise the values in RAM will be re-applied on restart/shut down. You can stop E2 using the "init 4" command. "init 3" to restart.
The firstrun value is also in the file called settings. Changing it will trigger the First Install Wizard.
