This helps a lot.
https://github.com/O...efd23be53932f1b
Now a lot more menus are working.
I've reverted some commits regarding up/dow keys.
But I can't revert them all.
Like:
https://github.com/O...425399d1da04949
And I think why.
There is something wrong that you need those commits. Always when you are Components.Sources.List. We do not need that in OpenViX so it is nothing to do with the Py3 conversion. Right now I can't track it down.

vuduo4k python-native error fixed.
For me Uclan Ustym4kpro boots fine.
No multiboot and no autobackup/restore.

Concerning the Uclan, a question, did you install single or mutiboot?

Single.
Besides python 3, this branch has a new OE-core.
So we have to deal with two things actually.
Meta-Uclan requires changes to multiboot for new OE core AFAIK (not sure?).

First build is running since this morning.
We've had some setbacks, one of the buildservers seems to have a faulty mainboard (it complains about memory inconsistencies, but all memory was quite recently replaced because of the same errors). So I had to make some capacity available on one of the others.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

My (et10k) build just crashed on qemu-native_5.2.0 after crashing several times on several objects. It apparantly was a fetching issue.
ERROR: qemu-native-5.2.0-r0 do_fetch: Fetcher failure for URL: 'https://download.qemu.org/qemu-5.2.0.tar.xz'. Checksum mismatch! File: '/nas/storix/openPLi/openpli-oe-core/sources/qemu-5.2.0.tar.xz' has sha256 checksum '6d13f2f5febb92022d93c9aa3142128d4066e69e725cad59b8b531d06da2ec93' when 'cb18d889b628fbe637672b0326789d9b0e3b8027e0445b936537c78549df17bc' was expected If this change is expected (e.g. you have upgraded to a new version without updating the checksums) then you can use these lines within the recipe: SRC_URI[sha256sum] = "6d13f2f5febb92022d93c9aa3142128d4066e69e725cad59b8b531d06da2ec93" Otherwise you should retry the download and/or check with upstream to determine if the file has become corrupted or otherwise unexpectedly modified.
But no problem, I keep on trying. Build is running again.

@el bandido
Update Enigma2 and try again.
Should be OK now, otherwise I'll look at it tomorrow.
Install/remove plugins and software update doesn't work with GUI E2 yet.
Must be done by telnet now.
Hope to fix that as well tomorrow.

you can remove it as hbbtv never worked via that webkit plugin (with lunix3-4k)

The problem with all those closed source solutions: I'm still convinced HbbTV doesn't work anymore in OpenPLi 8 because we've changed something in Enigma it interfaces with. But I have no clue what, or how to fix it without manufacturer support.
And Qviarts solution is the pinnacle of horror: they download an ipk from github which is injected (for mipsel) and include a libhbbtvplugin.so for ARM.
edit: and the libhbbtvplugin.so seems to be "lifted" from VU+.

Actually HbbTV worked years ago with lunix3-4k, but not via this 'webkit-hbbtv-plugin'. And I'm afraid that that's all I can remember.
And btw, it works good with closed source dreambox.
