Still can't play DVD from the start. Have to go in to the directory whit the files from de tottal dvd file.

Tried it again for you, but still no problem here.

 

I can't even go "into the directory", as soon as I select the parent directory (the one that contains the VIDEO_TS directory), the DVD starts playing.

That is not the problem. Make a copy from a dvd en put it on your harddisk from your box solo 4k. Than go to de directory and push the bottum play. I want't play. You can into the directory whit a browser and play every vob file but not the hole dvd. So you mis the translation.

Like I wrote, I don't have that problem.

 

I can't even "go" into the directory, as soon as I want to go into a directory that contains a VIDEO_TS (like "Wim Kan - Compleet DVD 1 van 3" below),  the movielist automatically starts the DVD player. And the menu works fine.

If you keep having troubles I can only advise to transcode the whole DVD to h264 (or even beter: h265) inside a mp4 (or better: mkv) container. Then will it take up quite a bit less space on your disk and it will simply always play. Be aware that the archaic codecs from DVD's (mpeg2) will not be supported forever by the SoC manufacturers, it's technology from before the year 2000...
