The identification of the installed image is read from a file in the image.

 

What do you exactly mean by "startup of the receiver"? Are you referering the the emergency menu? To the mutliboot selector function in a specific image? Of so which image?

After flashing Egami 10.4 image in multiboot slot 2, I see the correct name in the OpenPli 8.3 multiboot drop-down menu.
After restarting Enigma, slot 2 will be renamed from Egami 10.4 to OpenAtv 7.3. I think there is something wrong with the image of Egami 10.4 found on the tunisia-sat forum.

Flash the OpenPLi nightly build in a free slot, and check if that has the same issue. If I recall correctly, there where changes made to the multiboot screen recently.

The name of OpenPli nightly build in empty slot is not changed.It is something wrong with custom build of Egami image. When I flash this image in another slot, the name of this image in this slot changed after reboot.

Qviart dual-list channels

 

I would like to make myself, not made by others, a list of channels in Qviart dual.How to proceed ? Thank yοu.

What do you mean by "dual list channels" and "a list of channels"? You mean one or more channel bouquets?

 

The easiest is to use a PC tool like DreamboxEdit, Dreamset, DemonEditor, E2-sat-editor, etc.

Or when you are in the channel list press the Menu button on the RCU.

You will then have all the options you need to create yourself a new favorite, insert channels into it and move the them in the order that you want.

I took down the H-H engine because on Android it was locked f. des or it was stuck.I incremented in a row with LNB 3 x 3° or LNB 2 x 6°, respectively,acceptable but few satellites.

Question(i did not rotate the antenna on Linux) : if I reinstall the H-H engine, do I put an LNB with two outputs, and rotate only with LINUX, will this antenna rotate without blocks ?

Then I could rotate the Linux antenna and with the second LNB output I would use Android.Mie on Android I would need more to use.

Sorry to jump into this thread  mods can move the it too its own thread if you wish. Using the qviart dual with 6/6/2024 dev image are you aware of a couple of issues with the tuner locking up. I hope this has been spoken about before but if you try and watch an icam channel from such as vhannabal rotating list or if you try and watch the same free to air channel via the webif as whats on the receiver then the tuner is locking up. I have seen this in the early days of dual on other images and they fixed the issue (something to do with tuner being busy). The receiver locks up for maybe 3-4 minutes.

With "tuner" you mean receiver (as a tuner can't lock up) and with "lock up" you mean unresponsive and showing a spinner?

If so, restart in debug mode, recreate the problem, restart in normal mode, get the debuglog from the box and attach it here using "more pist options". Zip if needed.

I won't have time to do this this morning as i am heading for work but can you please explain how to start in debug mode. I only need to be told once its maybe something i have not yet done. When i say the tuner locks up yes i mean the box become unresponsive, including not being able to access to web if. Until i can get a debug log if anyone has the dual and can test this please put the box on any channel either free to air or encrypted and then stream the same channel from the web if. The channel wont play and the spinner appears on the screen of the tv. This works on other images.

So i am in the debug mode i can recreate my issue but where do the logs live in which directory please and whats the difference between doing this in debug mode and nomal dev mode?

Ok i have found the place for debug logs and i attach them there but only in debug mode. There are two faults i am aware of, the main one is if you try to watch a icam channel then where we try to stream internally the receiver locks up. This does not happen with the new way of watch channels on 28.2e via the normal channel list only the list in bouquests.. Now i have tried to replicate this failure but as i do not knos what content is stored in the debug logs i was unwilling to put my server details into the receiver. This has now given me the issue that the box does not lock up as it cannot decode the stream. The next problem i have found is if you try and watch a channel via the web if and i mean the same channel that the receiver is tuned to it will not allow you to stream via the web if and it will not play and it causes the box to become up responsive during the few minutes it takes to sort itself out. I have caught this in the debug log but i am unsure on what in the debug log refers to it.

Thank you for your reply i understand that i can do this along with the channels on 28.2e, but this fault has been around for a very long time, long before the option to use a standard channel list became available. The 2nd issue with not playing channels via the web if i think is linked to the first issue and is something to do with the tuner being busy. I know openbh has the same issue and they found the solution and issued a update. To be fair to openbh the fault with the webif not playing was not known to them either. For anyone reading this thread please see that i am not having a go at anyone i am only giving a little feed back to help your team make images better and i am very thank full to those who give their time.
