Perhaps I don’t understand this question properly. The DM500s is a MPEG2 only receiver (DVB-S) and not DVB-S2X MIS. So, by itself will never be able to receive these kind of channels. Off course it could stream these channels from another source. This depends on the quality/possibilities of the build in firmware. The DM500s is really ancient and I don’t think it supports new(er) stream types… Again, someone may prove me wrong….

I think he wants to stream 2 channels at the same time.
Can’t help here. I don’t know that box and ancient image.

The DM500s is a 305Mhz PPC driven Box. Last OpenPli is 2.1 I believe and an ancient GP3… The DM800 a 405Mhz mipsel with far more support… I really doubt if that box can ‘do the deed’. That thing is simply way too old…..

That doesn’t change anything about the hardware limitations…..

DM500 can not decode MPEG-4 most channels are now using MPEG-4  so you cannot stream to the DM500 since it is not able to display it.

While DM800 is capable to decode MPEG-4 so what you describe is logical to me.
