Where I live we get power failures.
After a failure the 7020 reboots, but not to the same channel that it was on.........../images/smiley/angry.gif
It selects a default channel, always the same one.
As I leave it on for unattended recording I need to get the current channel after a failure.
Any ideas?

What's the recording worth if a large chunk is missing due to a power failure? Maybe you should invest in a small UPS?
On a serious note: enigma saves the config only when you do a proper shutdown. While running it keeps the config in memory. So when you have a power failure, you lose all changes, not only the currently selected channel. Unfortunately, this is by design.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

That is what I would expect, but it does not seem to happen........
All my watching is timeshifted, by up to a week, so recovery is important,
even if I do loose a few minutes.
Any good sw should protect its data by saving on a regular basis.
PS I found the latest release Oct 08 on this site, but that does not seem to have helped.
The release on Dream4U is dated July 08

That sounds more like a bug than a feature :bah:On a serious note: enigma saves the config only when you do a propershutdown. While running it keeps the config in memory. So when you havea power failure, you lose all changes, not only the currently selected channel
