Hi

First: I am a newbie with PLi

I just installed the latest image and everything went just fine and I was able to tune the channels also.

The problem is with downloads, I am able to download something, for example CCcam config(2.0.11) downloads and installs fine. I was also to fetch the latest update and the latest menu and some other things from Addons and Cams.

If I try to download CCcam(2.0.11) or Bullz.txt it takes a while and nothing happens and then I get a message to check my communication settings and available space.

I am able to ping everything from internet, with name or IP.

Please advise.

When you try it again, does it work then? Are you behind some kind of proxy?

Not all our download servers are on dedicated IP addresses, and therefore require HTTP/1.1 requests. We have noticed that some download requests reach our servers in HTTP/1.0 mode, which fail. Retrying might give you another download server that doesn't have this problem...

No proxy, I am behind NAT otherwise the connection is straightforward.

I can always download CCcam config but never CCcam. I have tried many times, no luck.

What is bugging me is the error message which complains of the connectivity OR space.

df gives:

But I don't think you have a connectivity issue, there must be something else wrong. I don't know enough about the 7020 to comment.

It sure is not a connectivity issue nor a space issue as I was able to install CCcam and Panel manually.

my 7020 has no such issues - running from flash

out of interest - do you have Jade in flash or on multiboot ?

As far as I understand it is in flash.

Just checked the logfiles of the download servers against your IP address, and I see several successful downloads of the cccam tarball. Sounds like you have a local issue of some sort...

I believe you saw me downloading from 212.213.xxx.xxx and these were downloads I made with Internet Explorer from my PC. Dreambox is in address 80.223.yyy.yy.

Just now I tried to download Camx(31-05.06) with out luck and just after that I downloaded Camx config succesfully(this one I can download always).

Sorry for being a pain in the ass....

edit: Don't publish IP adresses if you don't have to...
