Hi

* I tried to upgrade the firmware for my Vu+ zero yesterday and since then I got a green screen with message "STB encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted".

It restarts but every time i use my remote to change channel I got the green screen again

* More than that I have no sound and my time system indicates 1970

* No way to use the USB port to flash again my box, it restarts on the resident software

Download an image for the Vu+ Zero.

Unpack the content and place it on the root of a preferable small USB stick. 1-4 Gb.

Put the stick in an USB slot and power on the box.

The flashing will start and the blue mini led blinks slowly.

At the end the led blinks faster and power off the box and remove the stick.

Power on the box and configure the image.

Thanks for your help but this is not working, I have tried this many times but the Vu+ is not booting on the USB even if i used both ports and differents USB sticks

It comes back to existing image and then keep my issue with green screen going

If you can get into the menu flash it from there, don't forget to put in a USB stick that has 1GB space as the Zero may not have enough space to download and unzip the image, during the flash from the menu process.

Can you access it using telnet, as you can also flash from the commandline?
