TV4 is unencrypted, but sends a CAID info and you can watch it and SVT is also unencrypted sends no CAID info and you cannot watch it. Strange. I hoped it’s the other way round. Which tuner do you use? I mean the tuner letter in e2? I and J I guess.

Sorry, for late response all the time, but I have not much time...

Can you please zap to an encrypted channel and then execute this in telnet/ssh:

cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input

Result should look like this:

root@gbquad4k:/# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
CI0
root@gbquad4k:/# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input
I

If you use the lower CI slot in the box please use this:

cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci1_input

And it should show CI1 as output of the first statement.

Then zap to TV4 and SVT unencrypted channel and execute the for both channels the 2 statements above again. Please post the output. If I do it on an unencrypted channel it looks like this:

root@gbquad4k:/# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
I
root@gbquad4k:/# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input
I

Please try to format your post properly (use "more reply options" and preview to see how it looks like).

Is this correct?

TV4:

root@gbquad4k:~# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
CI0
root@gbquad4k:~# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input
I

SVT:

root@gbquad4k:~# cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
I
cat /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input
I

And you can watch TV4 and SVT not, right?

Please zap to encrypted channel and then back to SVT channel. Picture is of SVT channel is black. Don't remove the CI module. Then execute this:

echo -n CI0 > /proc/stb/tsmux/input8

Is now the picture visible?

If not please also execute this:

echo -n I > /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input

Does it work then?

Can you please test again? You need to execute both echo statements to get it working. Right?
If yes, it means that the data needs to be send through the CI module. Don’t ask me why, as it also works without the module…

If you have black picture. Can you record that for a minute and then playback the recording or start timeshift. Do you see a picture when you watch timeshift or the recording?

So the result of
cat /proc/stb/tsmux/input8
is I
And you only need to execute this?
echo -n I > /proc/stb/tsmux/ci0_input

Right?
(I guess the box needs a special order in which the proc entries are written. I can change it, but I hope this will make problems on other boxes. So we need to test this carefully)
