Hi all,

Just to point that the Fast Scan scans the wrong French channels (such as tf1, fr2, fr3,...) on Astra instead of scanning them from Hotbird where they're back and fully available to all users :)

If you could just fix this it would be great :)

Thx !

Hi,

M7 group has been purchased by French Canal+  so now the basic french channels are provided on Astra 19.2E and no longer on Hotbird 13.0E officially (even if you can open them with your TeleSat subscription).

As you can see officially on the TeleSAT website:

https://m7cdn.io//te...des-chaines.pdf

You will see that TF1, France 2, .... are now referenced on Astra on no longer on Hotbird.  So FastScan is right.

Moreover you have a far better image on Astra (all channels are in HD) than on Hotbird.

Thx Pr2,

Indeed i should have checked twice.

The image is indeed much better on Astra but it requires to use the CAM... Which makes the use of our receiver much less interesting :/

By the way, could someone tell me how the fastscan is operating ? I'd love to enjoy fastscan on other stb thar are not supported by OpenPLi !

Ask other image creator to support FastScan not the other way.  :D

What STB?

If you want French channels that are not encrypted look at the MIS channels on 5 west. And use the MIS plugin to scan and sort them into the correct order.

I don't care about French channels. I care about Belgian channels.

STB is Dreambox 920.

There's no chance Newnigma² will ever do such a thing I'm afraid... So I'd rather find a way around...

So where are the LCNs for the Belgian channels, which transponder?

M7 group is using its own system that's why OpenPLi develop the FastScan plugin.
I don't think that they are using LCN.
Channels are splitted between several orbital position for french speaking 13E and 19.2E

I know how M7 works.  :)  The OP is asking about channels that are not in the M7 scan. I was asking which transponder has the LCN or bouquet for those channels, if one even exists.

I don’t think they exist. The LCN is probably hard-coded in the official boxes firmware….

How do you know? Have you inspected the transport stream?

No, I don’t have that kind of hardware.. The old Pace 7141 could be booted with either Canal Digitaal, TV-Vlaanderen orTéléSAT. Depended on the country code of the inserted card. Depending of this ‘setting’ the LCN channels were stored..

Those all read the LCN from the M7 transponder.

I've asked the person who invented the fast scan solution, so we'll soon know.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

If there is a standard LCN available, apart from the fastscan tables, and if so, on which transponder.
