Don't think I don't want to do this but IMHO it is useless. The error NEVER occurs while switching between tuners, only when  switching channels on the SAME tuner. Hence I don't think this will learn you or me anything we don't know yet. (I've been trying to find the cause out for almost 5 months, so there isn't much that I haven't done when it comes to hardware.)

 

Futhermore using Disecq 1 (ABCD) or Disecq 1.1 or a mix of both doesn't make a difference either.

 

But if you still think it could me a difference I will try it.

I did what you asked, though I did not physically connect the two sats (as I already knew what would happen) There is no problem receiving 28.2 as you can see in logfile "Only 28 & 5W"

 

Secondly I zapped from 28.2 to 23.5 as you asked and there is no problem either (as I already knew ) Logfile "28-23"

 

I included a third file because that is what the whole problem is about (28 -5-28-28). I zap from whatever channel to a multistream channel on 5W

then I switch to a channel on 28,2 (one that has the error, here Film 4), then to another channel the gives no error, here BBC One HD also on 28.2, and then back to the previous channel (here Film 4) and now it works faultlessly.

 

On top of this topic you will find two files that list in red the channels that give such an error

 

As I said already (in Dutch only) this only occurs when switching from a multistream  to one of the channels in red (most are on 28,2). Of course this list is not exhaustive,

 

All the test were done with nightly build 20220111 without restoring settings and a manual scan of the satellites. Hope this helps to find a solution.

And you checked with different Disecq?

Yes, I checked all the channels that worked and they all are DVB-S2, all those with errors are DVB-S. Well done to find this. Is there a solution?

 

And you checked with different Disecq?

 

I did 1 or 1.1 makes no difference.

 

openATV same problem?

 

I tried openBlackhole, VTI, VU+ software. All these gave the same result. I will try ATV now and see what it does. I will let you know

If this is a mistake in the tuner, then you probably need to somehow reset the data, e.g. close / open the tuner.

In any case, confirmation of the error from another user is required.

 

 

By the way, in the log 28 -5-28-28.debuglog, the receiver after loading turns on on the channel from 28.2 and this error is already there.

There has not been a switch to channel 5w yet.

I restarted enigma in debug mode when it was tuned to a channel that gives an error. So even a restart of Enigma doesn't fix it?

The box I am using is the second one, the dealer agreed to swap the first one for this one, because we assumed there could be a bug in that box, and in the first one the tuner had already been changed. So it cannot be the tuner.

ATV behaves the same as all the others. Multistream to DVB-S = error

Simple test:

 

Install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-slowzap in feed(system plugins)

Enable "Restart live TV service" in setup plugin
zap Multistream zap to DVB-S = error

Physically disconnect and plug back the cable from this tuner.

Press key blue-->find entry "Restart live TV service"-->press "Restart live TV service"

Does not work. After blue button and pushing "Restart live TV service" nothing changes. only when moving to a DVB-S2 channel and switching back, the channel works correctly.
