Looks like on OpenPLi 8.1 tuxbox-common package does not update and January 2022 images contain old version too.
Files /etc/tuxbox/cables.xml , /etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml and /etc/tuxbox/terrestrial.xml are dated September 13 2021.

Cause found and fixed, it will be updated again on the next build.

 

In the meantime, you can manually update by downloading and installing the version from the develop feed:

cd /tmp
wget http://downloads.openpli.org/feeds/openpli-develop/all/tuxbox-common_3+git358+1604f0c-r0.0_all.ipk
opkg install *.ipk

I ran "opkg update" in SSH and it fixed the problem. I don't know why updating from menu didn't work first time. If it will happen again I will let you know.

Hi, 

could you please check if the same problem (no update of the tuxbox-common package) is now present in the 8.3 image?

Files /etc/tuxbox/cables.xml, /etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml and /etc/tuxbox/terrestrial.xml are dated September 17 2022 on my box (Vu+ Ultimo 4K), also after the latest update (October 29 2022).

Pinned on commit hash by mistake when the release branch was created. Fixed, will solve itself at the next build.

Hi,
is it possible to rerun the automatic build that allows to have the satellites.xml updated from lyngsat?
Last build is dated Mar 23.
So we could have again an updated file in the weekly image build.

Should be fixed, updating github failed due to an expired key.

Or, if you do not use that one, where do I need to update the file on another Git?
