Hi try to log the following:

PIP German TV and BBC. German TV frozen. Starting recording recording on different German channel via OpeWebif, one tuner green (a), two yellow, than starting another German channel to stream on the computer: this channel is streaming fine!

Attached File  enigma.20220131.debuglog.zip   59.97KB   1 downloads

Issue is the same with both VTI image and OpenATV.

New test...

Enable only tuners A and B

Open tuner setup --> Set another "Channel" 1210(1) , e.g. tuners A -->User band 1420(2) and tuners B-->User band 1680(3)

1)play live tv  service 19.2E(e.g.  ZDF)

2)restart enigma as the debug log

4)play as PiP(channel selector/menu/blue button) service 28.2E(e.g. service BBC)

He has two cables to the two LNBs, no switch

Do you think there is a problem in the driver if both tuner blocks  (A,C,D,E) and (B,F,G,H) use the same userband configs? From my point of view it is logical that it must work but it doesn´t

Hi,

anudanan is right each LNB is connect to the the tuner input via separate cable directly.

the original problem was, that when I was watching a program on 19.2, a timer starting a recording on 28.2 in the background, caused the 19.2 on the screen to freeze. Workaround: start another recording an a second 19.2 channel and I was again able to watch the original 19.,2 program...

will do the next test a requested, I can seen a logic in the idea.

Just bitten the bullit and climbed into the loft ( freaking cold there ! ).

Switched cables and configured my Duo 4K like so:

Attached File  1_0_19_22C5_80D_2_11A0000_0_0_0_20220131133411.jpg   107.61KB   1 downloads Attached File  1_0_19_22C5_80D_2_11A0000_0_0_0_20220131133432.jpg   107.39KB   1 downloads

So one Unicable switch to FBC card 1, input A, and another Unicable switch to FBC card 1, input B.

Both use the same LNB number, and both use the same Userband. I can stream NED1 HD on 23.5 and BBC 1 on 28.2 simultaneously, no problem.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

You use a different unicable switch for tuner A und tuner B with different frequencies for userband 1.

That is not exactly the same as @coom has

I think your unicable switche have an own powersupply, if the power ist the problem

Open tuner setup --> Set  same number "Channel" 1210(1) , e.g. tuners A -->"Channel" 1210(1) and tuners B-->"Channel" 1210(1)

doesn't work!

A 1210 (1) 28.2

B 1420 (2) 19.2

C 1680 (3) 28.2

F 2040 (4) 19.2

works, can record one channel on either satellite and watch another in parallel!

@WanWizzard thank you for the effort to climb to the loft and switch cables etc.

From your pictures, I see, that your LNBs are not the same and they use different channels on (1) 1280 and 1210 respectively, may be that's why it works....

I new idea from me.

works this setup with all 4 tuners correctly? one live TV; one PIP, two recordings, all from different transponders

A 1210 (1) 28.2

B 1420 (2) 19.2

C 1420 (2) 28.2

F 1210 (1) 19.2

From your pictures, I see, that your LNBs are not the same and they use different channels on (1) 1280 and 1210 respectively, may be that's why it works....

Checked, my Jultec provides 1280,1382,1484,1586,1688 and 1790, and my Inverto provides 1210,1420,1680,2040,985,1050,1115,1275,1340,1485,1550,1615,1745,1810,1875 and 1940.

So I can't create a setup with the same UB frequencies.

It looks like that a double use of same userband frequencies in  seperated and different tuner groups are not allowed. It only works if all frequencies are different. The config of Wanwizard  shows us the double use of the userband numbers in separated tuner groups are not a problem.

@Dimitry

Is the reason for that issue from your knowledge a limitation of enigma2 or a limitation/bug in the vuplus driver?

My feeling is, it is a bug inside the vuplus driver

I do not know. Maybe the reason is in the VU+ drivers.

We need tests from other users who have two UniCable LNBs(same user band) with different satellites.
