Hi, I open the input device settings menu in openpli8.1 image and in the dreambox remote settings section, I reduce the speed and handling settings of the remote control to improve its speed, but it has no effect! What is the problem?

Scrolling speed as well as remote control delay

And how do you see it doesn't make a difference? What are you trying to do?

 

In most cases the response has nothing to do with the remote, but with the time to process the command.

For example, I want it to speed up when I hold down the scroll button repeatedly, just like my previous Dreambox. But because I was making these settings in Dreambox and I saw the difference, it is annoying in this device, because it has both low speed and command processing speed, especially in the pvr part.

Chances are you are hitting the speed limitations of the software, especially when the recordings aren't local but on a USB2 or a networked device.

 

This is because every recordings meta data is read and the duration of the recording is calculated. I think this can be switched off in the PVR menu.

 

If you want to test repeat delay and repeat speed, it is best to do that in a menu, using the up- or down button, as that has relatively low processing overhead in the software.

I turned off the meta files and also installed the latest emc version and the problem of slow speed in pvr was solved.

But my biggest problem is the long delay of the remote control, which has not been solved yet, should the fp version be updated separately? Because for me it is version 0.

I also connected a separate Bluetooth remote and more settings were added in the input device and through it I increased the speed of the Bluetooth remote to reduce its delay and the Bluetooth remote became very fast. I want the same option for the remote control of the device itself It works but it does not. What is the problem?

After days of working on changing the speed of the remote, I realized that the front processor does not allow changing the speed.

Is the version 0 for you too?

Can you add this feature to your images?

For "fast scrolling" ... the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" buttons are usually used in the Enigma2 GUI / SKIN. The "LEFT" / "RIGHT" button always scrolls the one page of your current list - as page-up and page-down.
