Is there a way to record IPTV stream and watch it at the same time using a single connection to server?
This can be done on IP boxes but not on sat boxes (only tested with open pli).

If you speak about a illegal IPTV server.. then do not expect an answer here.
If you speak about a web stream that can be found in the eg. Hanssat settings lists, then there is no problem since a you can start multiple sessions to that source.

Your illegal IPTV provider is limiting you to watch only one stream at the time, so your recording is consuming this stream. But you can watch your recording while it is on progress open up the Movie player and watch the ongoing recording.
