There is no AC3 sound in the Nightly bulld. Only stereo although AC3 is selected with the yellow button. I also tested it after a clean install. In 8,1 AC3 is there.

Which box, which channel, which NB date?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Ultimo 4k. All channels with ac3 sound.

DUO SE 4K + JBL 9.1 soundbar connected with Duo HDMI out to Soundbar HDMI in
AC3 give Dolby surround DD @display JBL
MPEG give PCM @display JBL

Sounds like AC3 downmix is on.

Yes after the latest change that review the downmix properties, you need to review them all because it is resetted to default value where downmix is on. (This mention should be included in the next release note).
