Hello,

I updated my STB from 7.3 to 8.1 lately, and I just noticed that editing timers in Webif does not work anymore (see attachment).

First problem : the channel selection box is not pre-filled (see "Select an option" on the right picture). I have to select the channel manually in the drop box otherwise I get the red error message.
Second problem : even if I select the channel manually, the modifications are not taken into account. This mean I can't change end time, for example.

Regards.

You get that error message (also) on streaming entries, also in the nightly build.

There are more issues, I can also not change the location of the timer. I can select it an save it, but when I open it again (or check on the box), the default location is still there...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Thank you for testing.

Yes, I gave "end time" as an example but whatever I change in the form, it comes back to it's default value when I reopen.
Thanks for confirming the problem.

Also I realized that I misunderstood the problem. The "Channel" selection box does not let me see my main bouquet (which is named "Last Scanned"). It only let me select the IPTV bouquet that comes with my internet Box (which I made up with DreamBox Edit).

OpenWebif doesn't really support IPTV entries ( service reference entries with a stream URL) at all.

Indeed but that's irrelevant here. I just wanted to point out that my bouquet of scanned channels does not appear in the list while my IPTV bouquet does.
I thought this information could be useful for anybody looking into it.

I don't see last scanned either, but I also don't see my IPTV bouquet in the channel dropdown, which are my last two bouquets.

Perhaps size related?

I reverted to 7.3 and the bug was still there. So I figured out that the cache of my webbrowser was messed up. I went into inspector mode and cleaned every cache related to webif (local storage, session storage and cookies) and it works again.

@WanWizard : could you please test with your browser in private mode and tell me if problem is still there ?

Ok :( I was hopping that using a fresh cache would solve the problem with 8.1 too.

Is it enough to report the problem on the forum or am I supposed to open a ticket or something ?

I run develop (nightly build) on all my boxes, so the latest OpenWebif code.

We don't maintain the OpenWebif, so please create a ticket at https://github.com/E...penWebif/issues (if it isn't already there).
