I have a strange problem with my EPG data from all ziggo channels which i get from a second box in house.

On my cable connection of ziggo i have connected an enigma box which gets all ziggo channels.

My other boxes in hous do not have a cabble connection/socket so they use the remote channel stream convertor to get the channel list of (dutch) ziggo from that box.

Some normal dutch channels (of ziggo) are set in my favorite list, each morning my EPG data is updated but each day i have NO epg data from all ziggo channels, my sattelite channels have 7 day EPG.

Until recently i did not had this problem, all channels (including cable ziggo) had 7 day EPG, but suddenly those ziggo channels have no EPG any more when i open the guide.

When i watch a ziggo channel then i suddenly have EPG data, sometimes only a few hours or a few days, but not 5~7 days....

As mentioned these are 'normal' dutch channels (rtl4, rtl5, film1 etc etc) and the same channels via sattelite do have EPG data.

An other strange thing is that other boxes in house which also get the ziggo channels via the stream convertor also do not have the EPG data of ziggo channels anymore, only the receiver which is connected to the ziggo coax (and act as stream server) has working EPG data when the guide is opened, but all clients do not.

On none of the boxes settings are changed or software updated.

What could the cause be that the EPG importer does not shown any EPG data from channels which are received by stream?

For example this channel does not have EPG data when guide is opened and not watched:

This could have several causes.

1. Do you import EPG on each receiver separately?

If yes, then you probably do not have these ziggo channels into your lamedb file.

In order to fix this, you can copy the lamedb from your master receiver to the remote boxes.

But if these remote boxes have other channels than the master receiver (f.i. a DVB-T2 attached).  You can lose these channels.

You have to rescan then these.

2.Instead of using the remote channel stream convertor, you can use the fallback tuner method.

With this utility you can read and transfer the EPG from your master receiver to the remote receivers.

This util can be found in the channels scanning menu.

See the attached screenshot.

Thx, but the problem is solved, it seemed ZIGGO was not in the provider list.

After reimporting the stream list the provider(ziggo) was added to the list and everything worked again.

Fallback tuner is no option, because i use 2 different DVB-C sources (trined+ziggo) and sadly fallback can only be matched to 1 source
