Just one observation... If you enable "Show crypto info in infobar" or "Show positioner position" in Main Menu->Setup->System->GUI Setup, then this info is not available if the InfoBarWeather plugin is enabled. Perhaps if all info from your plugin is moved a bit more to the left side of the infobar, then all above will be visible. In fact the positioner position is shown exactly above tuners and resolution info, which is not covered by InfoBarWeather info, but if the plugin is enabled, that info is missing on infobar.

may be, better would be put to VK text=settings.locationname2.value and display there in config lat/lon for found city. Time to time are there 2 cities with same name in country.

 

Pitty, that buienradar is very inaccurate for my country.

Could you make 2 versions of the plugin one extra long for louis skin and one that is shorter like you did in 0.6. It interrupts my bitrate viewer infobar which is in that corner of the screen

• Add Bulgarian translation (thanks @marto)
• Add lat/lon to location selection screen
• Fix layout of setup screen on non-PLi skins
• Shorten plugin on non-Loui skins (so positioner and bitrate viewer remain visible)
• Add three possible positions (in InfoBar (as it is now), above InfoBar, top of screen), all individually skinnable
• Add possibility to change displayed location name (so you can show Миколаїв instead of Mykolayiv, or whatever you like), press TEXT for a full keyboard
• Add min/max temperature (only visible when position is above InfoBar or top of screen)
• Add UV-index (only visible when position is above InfoBar or top of screen)
• Add sun power (only visible when position is above InfoBar or top of screen)

I did the extra translations for the languages I don't speak with google translate, I hope they're ok.

Very nice update. I really like position above infobar but the problem is it is not clearly visible on brighter colors. Could it be possible to make it extend transparent part of the infobar or like have transparent outbox behind the text. I noticed that position on top of the screen has that and it is clearly visible.

Edit: I think that position above infobar should be visible on second infobar because it wouldn't interrupt the epg and it would be better visible on the semi transparent background of the 2nd infobar

Yeah I know. I already put drop shadows on everything. It helps a bit, but not enough. There already is a transparent picture behind everything that matches the infobar, otherwise you'd see a "hole" in the infobar. Problem is that this infobar transparency increases upwards in the location of InfoBarWeather.

 

I tried keeping transparency constant in InfoBarWeather, and increase transparency above it, but then you'd get (from the bottom up): fixed infobar transparency, increasing infobar transparency, fixed InfoBarWeather transparency, increasing InfoBarWeather transparency (to fully transparent), and it looked butt-ugly.

Unfortunately it does interfere with the EPG:

Maybe it should be an option in settings for people that don't mind having the last line of their (long) EPG covered up.

 

Edit: how about covering up the complete last line of the EPG so it won't look funny?

os.mkdir(tmpdir). The error suggests that you don't have /tmp. I've never seen a unix box in my life that didn't have /tmp. Should I use $TMPDIR, if set?
