That makes no difference, for me this is "Almere" but a colleague I helped through TeamViewer had the same problem. That place was "Oirsbeek" in Limburg.

Hmm, I can enter "Almere" and "Oirsbeek" without problems... But I am on OpenPLi python3 2022-08-23. What version of the plugin do you have? The version is in the title of the setup screen.

Yes okay right. but I had the test Python3 version fully working with me before everything went over. since then these plugins suddenly work. not anymore, also not in feed that have been deleted. Basically, some plugins work quite well on Python3.

The plugin works on both python 2 and python 3.

I just flashed 8.3 and installed the plugin, and it works... Can you run enigma2 in debug mode and post the last lines of the output when the "crash" happens?

Telnet/ssh into your box and type:

init 4; sleep 10; ENIGMA_DEBUG_LVL=4 enigma2

Is this the error you're getting?

Attached File  error.jpg   36.94KB   8 downloads

I get that when I try to set location when the box has no internet. You've written elsewhere that you sometimes have issues with TheWeather plugin also, that I never have.

It might mean that your box has a dodgy internet connection.

I would like to report that this plugin now works after update. everything is fine now. And internet works fine with 100mb, apparently the error was in building the images.

Null pointer dereference? Shouldn't be possible from python code...

But it works again. Nice. Thanks for reporting.

Usually happens when something unexpected is passed from python to the C layer, I wish these things were easier to debug, since that backtrace is useless.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Where should that be placed in the infobar? There is not much room left.

Hello,

There is small bug when you change a parameter for exemple I changed Wind speed from BFT to km/h the current location is lost. In the setup screen it is still displayed then save the plugin configuration and in the infobar it ask to define again the location.

Can you please have a look at it?

Thanks,

Pr2

I can't reproduce the issue. I do have a different issue though: as soon as I have played a recorded program, changing the settings no longer has any effect. I think the two issues are related.

A bit of debugging shows that each time a playback of a recorded program is started, a new InfoBar appears to be constructed (enigma2 bug?).

I'm looking into it...
