The plugin is specifically made for the PLi HD skins, and should be skinned for other skins (like any plugin). It might also involve converting all pixmaps to vector graphics...

There is a cosmetic error with the display of the character "A" on the screen between the date and the city when pressing the ok key twice.

I see a setting that I can't really explain.

Once you enter Location you can enter your own city name. As soon as you press "Enter" you will see "Netherlands(NL)" And at "Show Location As" you will also see "Netherlands(NL)". Can't this just be made the way it was in the beginning, just your place name?

Press Menu go into Plugins there you will find the InfoBarWeather select it.

 

Second option is location, select it. With the virtual keyboard you can typing the name of your location, press the green button and it will show you the list of found locations that match your search.

If nothing is found then try a main city close to your location.  If it still find nothing then you are unlucky and the weather is not available for it from this plugin.

 

I think that the weather provider used for this plugin is not worlwide, if I remember well it's mainly for Europe.

 

If you want to switch from virtual keyboard to SMS style keyboard press the Teletext button.

My sunrise and sunset times are displayed incorrectly. For example, the real time of sunrise is 05:56, sunset is 19:03, and the plugin displays 02:56 and 16:03. I think the problem is in the weather.json file data.

 

Can you tell me what to change in the plugin.py file to display the time correctly.

Or perhaps make a choice in the settings for a time offset for sunset and sunrise. I think this problem occurs not only for me.

Please be aware that in OpenPLi development we now have a plugin type that can add instantiated screen to the infobar via a plugin type... which will make this plugin kind of easier...

I see it now tries to add these type of screens via a kind of 'hack' via session start etc... All that could be removed by just pointing to the InfoBarWeather screen class.

Sorry me again... for this code it might be needed I need to add some adaptions to it that you can do an instant enable/disable within a plugin that helps to remove/add/adapt these instantiated screens.... but that is finetuning.

I changed line 190 in file plugin.ru and the problem was solved.

became                 self[name] = Label()
