I am on latest nightly. Whene i search for new updates the Box freeze.

If you can reproduce it, restart Enigma in debug mode, reproduce the problem,. then post the debug log here (zip it first please), you can upload an attachment via "More Reply Options".


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

No errors in here, the only thing I don't get is the large about of

Yes i have mamy Timer set but why freeze the Box whene i search new Updates?

Freezing, or just very slow?

 

There is an IPv6 issue with one of the download servers, which randomly fails to connect.

 

We're looking into it, but have no clue what is going on, the TCP SYN doesn't even reach the server, suggesting something goes wrong in transit.

Downloading the update is already taking minutes. Then when the update is in, the box crashes during installation. By turning on and off nothing has happened and the box continues with the old software pfff. Install new software, if so which one?

If it crashes, there is a crash log. A crash can't happen simply because downloading takes long.

 

Do you have IPv6 active on the box and your local network?

We've opened a ticket with the provider, it seems to be a network issue at their end.

 

None of the other servers (same provider, other locations) have this issue.

For the time being, we've removed the AAAA DNS entry for mirror download1, so it won't resolve to an IPv6 address anymore.

 

That should address the connection issue for the time being.
