Hello , i just bought for my VU Ultimo 4K, Vu+ USB TURBO SE TUNER DVB-T2- v2 and on latest OPEN PLI 8.2 with installed driver from image list dvb-usb-turbo2 this usb stick is invisible in system.Tuner is working , i checked on pc , any help with this problem ???? Thanks.

Forget it! Bought the same 1 year ago. Needs kernel 3.18 or higher. VU+ has (as one of their last actions!) backported it for their mipsel boxes. Stick doesn’t work on OpenPli. It was a dudd. Threw it in the bin, waste of money..

Damn ,then for what this dvb-usb-turbo2 driver ???? so maybe work on other images i guess ?

That’s the driver for the ‘old’ black brick USB tuner. This also has a v2 version. The USB Turbo SE has a complete different chipset… The Turbo V2 driver creates confusion as is is meant for the old ‘black brick version 2’ and not for For the Turbo SE…

Ahhh , so i can now return it to Amazon where i bought or try other images on my second vu +tuner - DUO 4K SE. Thanks for help man.

Why doesn't it have to work with PLi?
The turbo with usb on my V + one is perfect.

Nothing to port from vti as vti is closed source…. Maybe gather it from public image from vu+

So now is odd , your has ARM CPU and my Ultimo 4k also has ARM so your model has kernel 3.18 ? R U sure u have the same USB stick as @Mimisiku show on photo ????

VU+ hasn’t responded since feb. 2022.. Marusys has stopped 1.5 years ago with the VU+ brand..

The rules have changed a lot in recent years. As I have said many times before, the one who takes everything upon himself, and does not wait for outside help, is the best(at least for business).
