Screwed Stone II skin Is chosen as a skin for me as soon as there is something wrong with a skin, e.g. skin not installed properly or another message. Normally this is OpenPli FullHD skin, right? This looks like Screwed Stone II is the only skin left in the system or am I wrong?

Screwed Stone II is a very basic and stable skin, and since it is part of the base image, there is less chance of it being broken. It can also not be removed, the OpenPLi default skin can be, it is an installable skin like all others.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

I completely understand that, but it's the case with me. If a skin is not okay, then you go back to OpenPli skin. But that doesn't happen to me, it goes straight to Screwed Stone II. And that's the problem.

It never goes back to a (random) other installed skin. The OpenPLi skin is just an optional installed skin as all others. Which you can remove like all others.

I made a HD version of this SD (720x576) skin, I had to resize it to 1280x720 means resizing factor 1.78 for x and 1.25 for y, it is not 1.5 for both x,y like resizing HD to FHD, the skin works but could still have errors, the graphics should be resized as well, I just resized few, i.e. a png 100x100 should be resized to 178x125 pixels, perhaps can someone automate this, detect the size and resized it by the factor mentioned, the files go to /us/share/enigma2/skin_default , make backup of your files before replacing, for testing choose skin Stone II     <emergency>

I resized some more png´s, seems that skin_default is not only for stone skin but used by other skins as well, I don´t know which graphics exactly I have to replace, I appreciate any help, in default_skin subdirectories I didn´t touch any png, the png´s go to skin_default, just replace existing files, make backup of your files before copying, by the way I used ImageMagic convert with the option

-sample "177.777777%%^!x125%%^!"
