why can't you record two programs at once the second recording is just black screen can't see either the third program is also just black

my box is called Vu+ duo4KSE

it does tune A to H

it records 8 programs at a time

Hope you correct those mistakes

but there is a bug in openpli 8.3

only records one program at a time

and watch something else at the same time, it just doesn't get stuck while recording a program

hope

You must be praised for that in Danish

is right for happy open pli 8.3

There is nothing wrong with recording multiple programmes. I suspect a configuration issue or a setup limitation.

Is your tuner a SAT tuner? How is it connected, and to what? What smartcard? Softcam (and if so, which one?) or CI module?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

A CI module is always limited to one transponder, and most CI's are also limited to 2 channels. Within those constraints you should be able to record one programme and watch another.

Alternatively, you can configure the box to record ECM's with the recording, so it can be decoded on playback instead of at recording time. This is how provider STB's work too.

recording 1 works
recording 2 works
but recording 3 doesn't work only black screen
it is a problem with recording that you cannot record 3 programs at once

is it possible that you can make from tuner A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H

is it an option with openpli 8.3

Like I said, a CI module is limited to two channels simultaneously.

Enable adding ECM's to recordings, and recording 3 should decode on playback, if the CI is available (and the box can route playback through the CI).
