Hi, have an Sf80008 running latest OpenPLI. Made an error when I set it up as I ticked a setting in the setup to autocreate bouquets for all countries (I was not really paying attention, my bad).

Now every time I do an update it autogenerates 250+ bouquets which delays loading of the EPG, etc and I have to manually delete them.

Can someone please tell me how to switch this autogeneration off - I am used a fixed satellite dish in UK, so only need one bouquet.

Thank you.

OpenPli officially does not have this option! This only happens when - illegal - IPTV plugins are installed that need to update URL’s at boot. So I think you are not completely honest in your statement and are ‘phishing’ for illegal IPTV support…

We don't have this feature in our software, so perhaps you have a plugin like autobouquetmaker installed?

If so, go to plugins in the menu, select the plugin, and see if you can find the setting to switch off.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Even if he had ABM active it would only create bouquets he had configured it for and only configured satellites. And certainly not 250+ bouquets. More like just a handful

Perhaps a settings list installed from the feed in the past. But not properly removed from the box?
for example:
E2_hanssettings_9e_13e_19e_23e_28e_AND_rotating (has 413 bouquets TV and 208 bouquets radio)

Thank you for your comments. Mimisuko - I am not being dishonest; this is a problem that is occurring and it may be I downloaded a dodgy plugin without realising. I am a noob so apols. I will try to check my config and remove anything that does not look right.

@Meanioni.

I have moved this topic from the German section to the English section where it belongs.

I think you have installed for Example the E2m2u2-Bouqetmaker that generates the IPTV-Bouqets. In this case you could delete the Bouqets and the file iptv.sh in var/etc/enigma2

Thank you all - I have removed auto bouquet maker; I also had a Pluto TV extension installed which I have removed - to be honest when I set the box up as a noob I wasn't really sure what was what and having used it for several months now am more au fait with OpenPLI. I never actually used PlutoTV.

OK, so to explain - I noticed that there were additional satellite providers in my settings over and above those I actually use and for which my (fixed) dish is setup. I only use the UK Astra 2G Freesat channels, but providers listed also include Hotbird 13.0 and others. I had installed AutoBouquetMaker (now since removed). I can't find a way of removing the additional providers.

The issue was that periodically, I would find 250+ bouquets had been generated covering many international countries, even if there was no signal. This was a pain as I use the Kodi Enigma2 extension and as this has to load all of the bouquets it would sit there for ages. The only remedy it seems is to go in and delete them by hand which took an age.  I found over time that these would reappear usually after a software upgrade.

So, following the advice on here, I have removed PlutoTV, I have removed AutoBouquetMaker; there is no file iptv.sh in var/etc/enigma2

I discovered there were some in Radio bouquets too - see screengrab here: https://photos.app.g...qJppKWVD7Jrrr16 - this shows the additional satellite providers and the unwanted bouquets, of which there are many.

I am hoping the deletions have fixed it. I do recall during setup a question being asked if I wanted to autocreate bouqets for all providers (I understand this is not standard OpenPLI, but could be from an extension? To be honest I can't remember as it was some time ago and my knowledge of OpenPLI was more basic then).

Also check via menu, plugins, red button, if you don't have a channel list installed. If you don't remove that, it will keep coming back.

Hi.

Nothing wrong @Meanioni but you should use pure OpenPLi from this website - I mean the original firmware from OpenPLi team. Not a modified OpenPLi (third party firmware) because there is always a potential security risk there.

As for these userbouquets issues in addition, theoretically it could also be tracked in the debug logs. First you should start debugging in OpenPLi and reboot. Then... when the userbouquets of all countries appear again, you just copy and throw the last debug-file from the set-top box, into the discussion (you copy the file to your PC via FTP connection and then upload it here - to the discussion). Theoretically, in the debug record, it will be possible to find the cause. However, this is not always the case (for example, when the algorithm / service that adds these userbouquets runs outside Enigma2 debug mode).

Debug in OpenPLi, if I'm not mistaken, can be started via GUI (using RCU), but also via Linux-Shell (by terminal connection via SSH / Telnet protocol to your set-top box, for example using the PuTTY application).

You can enable debug logging in the standby/restart menu.

Thank you. @wanwizard checked re the channel list none installed.

@S3n0 and @wanwizard the version of OpenPLI was preinstalled by the supplier on the box. Rebooted the box with debug on so will monitor and if the problem recurs will load the log.

Appreciate your helpful replies.
