Hi Doglover, such a long time!

There's a new channel called "Padel Time TV" on both 5°W and 13°E, can you add them?

PADEL TIME TV 5°W 11512V 1:0:16:311:C94:3:EB0000:0:0:0

Padel Time TV 13°E 12692H 1:0:1:1D6:26AC:13F:820000:0:0:0

Thanks a lot

By the way can you help us cleaning our database, I don't know how to do and as many of us writing here, I'm victim of double EPG on a lot of channels. Most of the time, channels have changed their frequency on sat, and as I link them with EPGImport (and my softmanager Echannelizer) to one of your EPG (to avoid having DVB EPG) I get a mix of 2 EPG's... It's annoying and frustrating because we can't do anything to it and never have the good program. One of the example is Golf+ linked to Cne+ Family, but I have so many: CNAL+BoxOffice linked to a german classical music channel (D Gramophon? or Classica HD on 13°E?), Seasons France linked to a porn channel (Dorcel HD): very shocking to have porn tiltes in the middle of other channels!, Cnal+live3 linked to ??? Can't find what it is , Cnal+live4 linked to can't find either, Dorcel XXX 12402 V on 19.2E on linked to National Geographic french 19.2E...

So how can I clean and most of all, WHAT should I clean to at last get the right EPG on the right channel???

Thanks a lot

Edit: Cnal+live3 linked to Teletoon+1 which has been stopped on 19.2E, Cnal+live4 linked to Djazz TV on 16E

From what I can read, and guess, you have IPTV and a lot of links are wrong.

Problem with this is that the IPTV channels can be linked to any service ref you want to.

And there is the problem. I do not have any influence on that process. The IPTV provider is doing this. Or even you yourself.

Things you can do:

1. Make a list of service refs used for which channels, in the bouquets

2. Links these service refs to the correct EPG in a custom.channels.xml file.

Use the rytec.channels.xml file as a guide: https://github.com/d...Gimport-Sources

3. Disable (or delete/rename) ay other xxx.channels.xml file in /etc/epgimport/

I know this is mammoth task. But I find that it is the only foolproof way the get the correct links.

How do you think the rytec.channels.xml file has been constructed, and is maintained?

Yes, manually

Any software solution to link channels to EPG is not 100 % accurate and requires manual manipulation.

The only link I have is:

1:0:1:C8A:C80:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

Which is a cable reference.

And:

1:0:19:24C4:43C:1:C00000:0:0:0:
