Hello,

About Canal+ Afrique (Not Caribbean). It's a little bit confusing for me for Canal+ Cinéma.

We have 2 tvg-id: CANAL+CINEMAOUEST and CANAL+CINEMAOUEST.civ

I'm in France (currently UTC+2). Canal+ Centre is at UTC+2 so same as France and Canal+ Ouest at UTC.

I have problem with Canal+ Cinéma Afrique:

- I configured one channel with tvg-id CANAL+CINEMAOUEST and everything is OK, I have the correct time for the EPG

- So for the other I configured CANAL+CINEMAOUEST.civ, but the EPG isn't correct. A program which start at 08h32 (local fr time) is displayed at 10:32 (Tout le monde aime Jeanne), another start at 10:08 is displayed at 12:08 (Le Cercle). So I have 2 hours time difference.

In the epg all programs for these channels are in +0000.

Could you help me, if I am clear (I hope).

Thanks.

Hi,

.civ means "Côte d'ivoire" which has a 2H time difference with Europe Team.  So at 11H00 in Europe it is 9H00 in Côte d'Ivoire.

So the EPG without the .civ is at European time while the other one is at Côte d'Ivoire local time.

Hi,

I understood that but so as explained there is a problem because in central channel the epg is not correct and in the west channel (civ) it's ok.

Hi Doglover,

is this clear enough for you to fix the epg of the tvg-id CANAL+CINEMAOUEST.civ? I think it's a timestamp to add. what do you think about?

Thanks

I still do not understand the problem.

I had in the past somebody complaining that the schedule for Canal+ Cinema Ouest was on hour early.
So, I shifted it one hour.

CANAL+CINEMAOUEST  is taken from the Canal+ Cote-d'ivoire website.

Now I created the schedule CANAL+CINEMAOUEST.civ by shifting the schedule by one hour.

PS:  All schedule times are in UTC time code.  This has nothing to do with the local timezone or European time.

The website list the schedule in a json file.  This is a sort of database, in which all times are given in UTC.
I leave it at that, since enigma2 perfectly understand UTC timecode.  It corrects it automatically to the local timezone in your receiver.

It's not really clear. the tvg-id .civ is for Cote d'IVoire. Without is for center Africa, the name should have been canal+cinemacentre, but it's not a problem.

But in the current case, without civ is used to generate utc+2 epg (Cote d'Ivoire), so with civ the epg is in UTC +0 so have to be shift with a 2 hours from Cote d'Ivoire.

It's not clear for me too, what I see is that CANAL+CINEMAOUEST is OK on one of the Canal+ Cinema Afrique channel, the CANAL+CINEMAOUEST.civ doesn't give the good epg on any of the declination.

Edit: Currently West Europe is in UTC+2 but at the end of october will be in UTC +1, it's perhaps the reason why a user ask you to shift to one hour not two.

Stop calling the schedules utc+2 or utc+0

They are all in UTC - GMT time.

This time is being adjusted to the timezone of your receiver when importing the EPG.

Ok I understood that but to talk about time lag between channels it's useful...

Hello,

The EPG problem is still there for the Canal+ Cinema Afrique channels.

So I will try to be more clear:

Canal+ Cinema Ouest tvg-id="canal+cinemaouest.civ", a program which start at 15h54 is displayed in the epg at 16h54

Canal+ Cinema Centre tvg-id="canal+cinemaouest", a program which start at 15h46 is displayed in the epg at 16h46

So for these 2 channels there is an error of one hour.

Thanks

Canal+ Cinema Ouest tvg-id="canal+cinemaouest.civ", a program which start at 15h54 is displayed in the epg at 16h54

This should be resolved tomorrow.

Canal+ Cinema Centre tvg-id="canal+cinemaouest", a program which start at 15h46 is displayed in the epg at 16h46

There is no channel Canal+ Cinema Centre grabbed. There is one on the Ivoire website.

I will add it to the grab:

<channel update="i" site="canalplus-afrique.com.cote-d-ivoire" site_id="df95cabc2cb04c565c7ae8fe5496c801/180125" xmltv_id="C+CinemaCentre.civ">CANAL+ CINEMA CENTRE</channel>

Hello,

I've imported new epg for canal+cinemaouest.civ and C+CinemaCentre.civ and everything is now ok.

I think we have the same problem with Canal+ Family Afrique ans Canal+ Elles Afrique.
For canal+familyouest.civ the epg is ok, but we have canal+familyouest which does'nt have the correct canal+ family centre EPG. Same thing for Canal+ Elles.

In fact, I you create epg for "centre" versions for these channels, you can clean canal+familyouest, canal+ellesouest as you did for canal+cinemaouest (without the .civ).

Hope I'm clear.

Thanks

Finally did other verifications. canal+familyouest and canal+ellesouest (so without the .civ) have the content of the Centre Afrique channels. So with these tvg-id the EPG is ok for theses channels.
