It is pointless looking at those figures without knowing what exactly they mean. On a linux machine, all memory is always in use.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Hi.

Try to install "htop" tool (process explorer):

opkg update
opkg install htop

And then run it (type: htop<ENTER>).

There you will see, in the upper part of the terminal, the occupation and also the size of your RAM. Then, for more info, press the F1 key on your keyboard (terminal).

Exactly so, Formuler F1 has 1GB of RAM + 512 MB of flash memory (internal disc).

What does 'htop' show?

You can also try other tools for detecting RAM, you can find them easily via GOOGLE.

For example, here are some simple tools available in almost every Linux:
