I am trying to stream some avi movies from my PC to my dreambox with no success.
I am using the new Jade 2 image for a 7020 and I have downloaded the 0.9.8a VLC.
My dreambox by using the movieplayer see all the movies on my PC but when I try to stream the movie I get an error that it says that I cannot stream the movie. the exact error says "A streaming error has occurred".
How can I debug the movieplayer to see what the problem is?
On my PC I have Vista.

There must be enabled IP of your box in VLC.

under VLC 0.9x must be enabled IP of box in file:
c:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\http\.hosts
( note: VLC 0.9x is very unstable for streaming - resp. for sout command. Last 0.99 i did not tried yet )
