Hi,
I have Open PLI 8.3 from 16 Jan and the box doesn´t accept volume control from the remote control. I tried AC3 (DTS) downmix, map volume control to other keys - nothing worked. In OpenHDF the volume control works.

Box standardly accepts remote controller volume buttons for AC3 audio track, when is set AC3,DTS countdown. Flashed and tested now.

under Yellow button you will see select audio tracks and with red there is downmix

Countdown = Downmix? I set downmix in the general Audio and Video settings. Is it the same?

Multi channel downmix: Passthrough (volume controled in connected device) or Downmix (controled audio by Vol+/- on box) . Setting in A/V or under Yellow-Red is same.

Sorry, it works. I was confused because there is no indicator of volume settings - neither on the screen, nor on the display (of the box).

Could it be that your screen settings aren’t as they should be? In that case the volume indicator at the left of the screen isn’t visible.
When you push Ok twice can you see the full screen with all available info? If no, you should setup your TV screen properly. Depending the brand of the TV this could mean ‘scan’ or ‘full’.
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

It works. According to Philips "Auto" means overscan on, "unscalable" means overscan off. Thank you.
