Hi guys,

I am using EPG Refresh on my VU Uno 4K with the latest OpenPLI image. Everything is working fine, I appreciate your hard work!

Since a week I unfortunately have problem with the plugin EPG Refresh. Everytime I reboot the Box or restart GUI the EPG is gone from both satellites and iptv channels. I then have to restart EPG Refresh and EPG Import plugins to get all the EPG data. Few days ago it was no problem to restart GUI and save the EPG Data.

Can anyone help out what the problem could be? Thanks.

Are we talking about Openpli 8.3?

The box has a correctly mounted hard disk (HDD)?
The hard disk is writable?

EPG refrash is set up to keep the paths to it?
Otherwise there may be 2 epg.dat files in the system.

If everything is in order, then I would simply delete the epg.dat file on the hard drive via ftp or file browser.
It will then be recreated the next time you shut down.
It is possible that it is defective.

I agree with @rantanpan . Probably one corrupted epg.dat file. Sometimes it happens. Try stopping Enigma2 and find the epg.dat files and delete them. Then... reboot the set-top box. It can also be done through a terminal connection (linux shell):

init 4; sleep 5; find / -type f -name "epg.dat" -delete; reboot
