The default skin is the best.

The service providing the weather data has stopped working. Not much Loui can do about this. The skin works fine, just no weather data.

As mentioned, if you want at least some weather data, you can try InfoBarWeather.

I’m afraid all weather services will soon or later stop providing weather info for free

Who can/wants to make this OE-A weatherplugin work for PLi?
to use it (replacement) for skins that shows weatherinfo
It needs a few tweaks to make it work for openpli
Thanks

And likely witling these weeks this onze Will break as well…

but I see something like api key which is good News… but it uses eg msn weather as far I can see in a quickview which is bad News.

I do not think it Will take a long time to adapt this for openpli. But I still think we should go for weather info box screen extension by adding a instantiate screen to the infobar that can be registered via the plug-in system instead of using a renderer.

It can use one of three providers: MSN (broken for some), OpenWeatherMap (needs API key) and OpenMeteo (free, open source, no registration, no API key needed). OpenMeteo seems good, and it doesn't look like they are shutting down any time soon. open-meteo.com
