's foto tomywini 20 apr 2009

I really enjoy playing with this box I only wish i could have played with DB earlier.

I'm trying to get some info about streaming picture through internet. I got pic on my laptop using my network. I use DM 500s with Pli image.

Anybody has any experience with this staff?

Thx guys for a clue. I tried to follow instruction and stream my video to DM. For some reason DM can't connect to PC. I know that I'm using my PC IP. I followed directions from top to the end. All the time I'm getting message on my DM that can not connect.

Maybe this is just port 80 fault. how to change port 80 to any port? How to see what other application use that port?

Thx again for a good support

I'll speak to my experience so far.
I have Jade2 and vista home and a 7020'
I had two problems when I couldn't connect with movieplayer
Had to revert to an earlier VLC............0.8.6b
And remember of course to set interface to web in vlc.
So I can pick my file and it buffers complete.....but only sound....no picture yet.
I had to pick non-standard file to get at least the sound.
Then changed DM avi settings of frame rate to match file properties and the picture came 'round..lol
Hopefully this helps you connect.

Also a tip....the video ratio for your file type in the WEBIF may not have the right ratio in the drop down menu.
Change it in

/etc/tuxbox/movieplayer.xml
