Hello everyone,

I use a VU Uno4kse with an internal SSD.

The smart value "174 unexpect_power_loss_ct" counts by one higher each time the box is switched off.

Could it be that the SSD's shutdown is not implemented correctly?

Occides with version 8.3 and also with the current nightly builds.

Greetings Martin

enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-mountmanager

open plugin/press menu/press blue key/"*****Spin down HDD*****"

if [ "$REMOVABLE" = "0" ]; then
	sdparm --command=stop /dev/sd?
echo "[umountfs] spin down HDD before power off..."
	sleep 3
fi

The sdparm should not be needed, Linux itself will issue the shutdown command.

The problem is there is usually not enough time between the command and shutdown of the system, so the 3 seconds delay is relevant.
