Hi.

Is there no configurator in OpenPLi - for front LCD panel (on set-top box) ?

What about the LCD4Linux plugin ? Does not work ? Or not installed ?

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-lcd4linux
reboot

The SF8008 doesn't have an LCD, just a four-segment display.

It needs a different skin_display. This question has been asked numerous times, so I assume a search would help...

install this plugin:

enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-vfdcontrol

And you can set it up to display the clock instead of the channel number.

The option is already there. Install the vfdcontrol plugin from:

Menu->Plugins->Green (Download plugins)->systemplugins->vfdcontrol

(Menu->Plugins->Vert (Ajouter extensions)->systemplugins->vfdcontrol)

Go into plugin menu and press red, you'll see it then.

Go into plugin menu select the plugin and press the red button to suppress it.

the problem is that I don't see it on the list of installed plugins

So first try to check if the plugin is actually installed via opkg management:

opkg update
opkg list-installed | grep vfdcontrol

If you see the plugin in the list, then just uninstall it, as I wrote above. The likely package name is "enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-vfdcontrol" as @Pr2 wrote. If the name of the package is any other, use this other name.

root@ustym4kpro:~# opkg list | grep vfdcontrol
enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-vfdcontrol - git5550+8a8fbba-r0.0 - systemplugins-vfdcontrol

so if installed it will show up under Plugins, red button, systemplugins.
