Hello every one, it ´s few days that i try but i can´t resolve it, :rolleyes:  so big help is needed. Working ftp & network.

I´ve look all explanation on wiki for mount, make exactly like described, i´ve made a shared folder Vuplus on my shared C drive & samba is actived on my windows 10....

When i scan network on Vu+ i can see my pc ip+name; i press green button mount manager, add new mount,

i write this... so maybe you can see that´s wrong. Thanks for help

 

active : ok

local mountpoint: pc

mount type: cifs

server ip: pc ip

host name : nothing or tried with pc name

server share: /c/Vuplus or  tried  /vuplus

use as HDD replacement : no

mount option : rw

username :guest or tried with nothing

pass: blank

Unless you have specificly re-enabled the old SMBv1 protocol om your PC, you need a valid username and password.

 

Guest and anonymous logins in Windows have been disabled for a while now.

 

And server share is as it appears in the network explorer, without a /. hostname is a DNS name, you can leave it empty, IP has precedence.

I don't have Windows, but if I recall correctly the share name for a Windows drive is [capital]$, so the share name for drive C: would be C$.

Appearently as a security measure remote access to administratieve shares is disabled now (not a bad idea btw, it is better to explicitly create a share for your mount).
