Maybe I'll give it another chance later, but somehow the VU Multiboot doesn't run so smoothly here.

Had initially at my first attempts immediately the problem with this blue screen from kexec whereby the box but also did not boot (as yesterday).

 

After a lot of tests (Newflash etc..) VU Multiboot works then but two - three days quite well, although it is also there from time to time. 

that the box did not boot which was solved by pressing the power button on the remote control for about 10 seconds.

 

But yesterday for some reason the box always hung at the blue screen from kexec.

I have the box each time by about 10 seconds long keystroke on the PowerTaste have to restart but that helped nothing the box hung each time again at the blue screen from kexec.

 

Since there was nothing more to do so I have reflashed and use now for the time being no VU Multiboot to compare how the box behaves there.

I know that my box always already from time to time does not want to boot but then it always hangs at the very first boot logo what but always with the

10 seconds long keystroke of the PowerTaste on the remote control can solve.

Since using VU Multiboot but hangs also in the same place so at the very first boot logo but often times afterwards where you then just see black picture on the display, this hanging there was without VU Multiboot but never before.

 

 

 

 regarding the ci+ with slowzap plugin you should be able to solve it when you properly config that plugin.

 

maybe but what are the correct settings? I have tried very many different settings.

 

By the way: exactly the same ciplus with vu and sky de module problem exists with openvision devel also.

With this problem it is also not possible to stream Sky channels on a second box using remotchannelstreamconverter.

Do you have your multiboot images in flash, or on some external storage?

i use the new vu multiboot in flash, but i already had the ciplus problem also earlier without any multiboot.

Use openBh in multiboot

i use not openmultiboot, i use the new real in pli implemented multiboot for vu 4k boxes.

because of what problem now, because of the ciplu problem in pli with sky de module, or about my problems with multiboot?

Support  VU+ closed libraries -->new openBh/openATV/VTI images

same as

 

old openpli 8.0 if you use the patched enigma (not the implemented ciplus from pli) from @ednaz

Do you mean that e.g. openBh/openATV/VTI images do offer illegal licenses for CI+ directly in their image somehow?

We have discussed this many times over the years.

 

These are special compiled libraries from VU +, which are added by a patch(libraries + compatibility code)  to the enigma2 assembly.

And it's not an open source project.

I had (when I used the vu multiboot) an openatv also in use and yes with it ciplus works fine.

But I like the images of PLI also very much and therefore I also wanted a PLI with correctly working ciplus with sky modul and indeed a newer PLI such as: version 8.3 or just the nightly build.

Other images from other teams are therefore not a recommendation for me.
