When I set a timer on my vu+duo 2 nothing gets recorded,sometimes it works but most times it does´nt

Any clues?

=> problem is not in timer (when it is recorded, timer 100% works) but in decoding, type of broadcast, wrong LNB etc ...

I have 3 tuners (tuner A with diseqc A,B,C,D) (tuner B same as Tuner A) (tuner C same as Tuner A) but can only record one channel I can´t zap to another channel.

Any clues.

OK, 3 indepentent cables, each pluged to one tuner and each with diseqc ond second end.

 

"Same as" should works, but try set for second and third tuner similar setting as for first tuner (= simple, diseqc A/B/C/D)

 

And there in Menu-Setup-System-Customise see, how is set "Preferred tuner" and "Preffered tuner for recording"

It can be a lot of problems ... cable, tuner, diseqc, wrong setting

you must try, if all tuners are ok - try working cable put to different tuners etc (with turned off power)

 

how are pluged tuners to box (positions) ?

Auto DiSEqC (yellow button) sets for all 3 tuners some positions ?

I know the disecq have the right settings,strange I have it working for a few minutes then it stopped working again.
