Hi,
I know from VU and Broadcom that AVI was removed from the driver a few years ago. If you have a VU and can find a 4 or 5 year old image may be its working again.

AVI is a container and can hold many, so I think you mean XviD which is a codec and cannot be read anymore by the Vu Duo4K.

Welche Box ist denn in deinem Besitz?
Eigentlich ist es nur ein Chipsatz von Vu+ und Edision und Gigablue benutzend bei dem man die oben erwähnten Einschränkungen des Container sehen kann.

Duo4k sollte es können zumindest ist es im Chipsatz nicht deaktiviert.
