Our fetcher updates https://github.com/OpenVisionE2/oscam weekly and it's weird that you do update/revert/pin oscam just to be like 4 days ahead?

Yes, I have seen, now it is available in the feed, you did not understand, since on the feed there was still version 11714, I thought the developers would not have updated to the last 11719, for that I resolved to solve alone.

Clearly the script that you show to startup OScam was not the one from OpenPLi.

Better next time ask here and when there are good reasons to upgrade we can do it..We PIN it as sometimes a higher number in oscam could also contain unexpected bugs. Getting it from 'elsewher'e could have risks that it is not working as you did experience.

enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam_11719-emu-r798_all.ipk (should be compatible with OpenPLi)

Luckily I can build my own OScam binaries
Update is only necessary if something major has changed for a card you own. I had to update to 11717 for my sRG 7 card. But as stated, if your card runs fine you don't need to upgrade.

And there is no need to build or download binaries,
The version in the feed works, and works fine. If a version update is needed for some reason (like mimisiku mentions), just ask and we will update the build.
This third-party build is now keeping us busy for 49 posts, at it is a waste of time for all of us.
