Ok, guys everything seems to work great now. Thanks for sorting all the issues out pretty quickly!

 

Tuner J stays active and it is possibly to record/PIP from all sats and tuners in parallel.

Hello community....

 

I have the same problem.

 

I have 2 LNB Alps Astra/Hotbird plus multiswitch 9/16 Bauknecht and a Spaun 21 F (1076-1178).

 

Spaun 21F is connected to the multiswitch (single cable solution).

 

Tuner A is configured correctly and Tuner B is connected to Tuner A (I've been using this setting for years) and has always worked

 

with the last image I don't have problems with Opnepli and ObH with ATV, so I can record something and watch other satellites in parallel.

 

With Openpli and OBH I don't get tuners available...

in openATV have set option UNICABLE-Matrix and work....

 

This option not found to OpenPLI and OBH

Yes.

 

And I do that on a daily basis, quite often 6 or more parallel recordings.

 

My Duo 4K has two FBC tuners, each only having a cable on the first input, connected to 2 Unicable switches having 4 LNB's. Setup exacly like you posted in #16, only for different positions (13/19/23/28). See also my screenshots in #3.

 

No issues whatsoever.

@wanwizard   I am struggling to get multiple recordings working with Openpli.  Previously I used VTi but switched to Openpli. The setup for the virtual tuners C-H on my VU+solo4K does not work under Openpli. Is there an example how to configure tuner A-H  using two wideband LNB's together with the Inverto  IDLU- UWT110-CU010_32P. Thanks in advance.

If you use a Unicable setup, you need to

• configure every tuner individually
• if you have multiple sat positions on the switch, make sure you define them in the correct order (LNB 1, LNB 2, etc) and position (equal to the LNB number)
• every tuner needs to have its own unique user band

For example, my Tuner A, 23,5 and 19.2 (I have 4 LNB's, in order 23.5, 28.2, 13.0 and 19.2):

and Tuner B:

The configuration for C to H is identical to B, apart from the User Band number.

 

p.s. this is assuming you only have your switch connected to tuner A, it doesn't need a second cable on tuner B (if you have, you need to read up on how a Unicable, a single cable system, works ).
