For three or four years now i have allways used FlashFXP program to transfer files from one VU+ Solo2 box to another without problems both both running openspa...
I have now moved one box on to openPli now flash wo't work between them at all every file i try to move fails if i try either way from openpli or from openspa, i think there must be something i am missing on the openpli that is stopping me moving files. any ideas please?? thanks

I have never used it, so I cannot comment, but as this is a Windows FTP client, it should work. I would advice FileZilla https://filezilla-project.org/ and you could also achieve access to your receiver reading this https://wiki.openpli...ernet.29browser

In your File transfer problem you need to check that the binary mode is forced (also in FileZilla) text mode gives trouble and corrup the transfered files.
If you use an ssh key, you first need to setup a password for your root account otherwise you cannot use the ssh method.
So telnet to the box and type:
passwd
To define a root password
But giving the error message that you get would probably tell us more and guide you better to the solution.

Thank i have already done the password change but was still the same and it does not give an error code it just says one file failed

it connects fine i can see files to copy to other box but when selected and told to transfer i just get failed files...

I removed the double post. Maybe if it is not to much trouble use FileZilla, so we can rule out any software problems?

program is working fine.
trouble with Filezilla is i have to move file to PC then to the other box..bit of a pain.

you need server side support for 3-way clientless transfer, and I'm not sure the stripped vsfpd has that support.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
